The very-very first shot of the trip- Palomino Butte HMA at sunset.
A band stallion between us and his family, cautiously watching our every move. The band moves on with grazing, confident with his watch, and ready if he behaves in an alarmed way, to react quickly in response. When we dusted our jeans, the band took off like a shot.
