Cheveyo, "Spirit Warrior"
Cheveyo in Native American Hopi, means 'spirit warrior'. Cheveyo, and Choctaw have control of a small group of mares and their foals. The two stallions and the mares all came from the big Cherokee band... one of the biggest and most colorful bands on this range.
We are still trying to riddle if they've permanently banded together as a new band- spinoff, or if they'll r...e-join the large Cherokee herd. Much depends on bonds, so I suspect if the mares are bonded to other mares or stallions of Cherokee's, at community waterholes, there's a chance they may go back. But, perhaps these stallions have made their own bonds with the mares and will continue being their own band. We didn't watch them long enough to know, but you know it's in my notes for further observation in the future, to understand the dynamics.
